Taking a 2-3 week break push my weight lifting progress back by a few months. Anyone else?

Every time I went on holiday or take a break for a whilst (2 weeks or so), I realise that I at all times lose a month or two of progress.

For instance, I used to be benching 82kg ahead of Christmas, now I will slightly bench 70kg.

It’s now not a one time factor as smartly, if I used to be busy and skipped gymnasium for a week and a part, I believe like I lose a few weeks of progress (generally 1 to a few consultation of weight building up) and I’ve to paintings my approach up slowly once more.

Anyone else have the similar downside?
